Pride Experience Itinerary

Day 1: Havana

Early morning departure Miami from the hotel to the terminal. Upon arrival in Havana, meet your group will meet our experienced, bilingual Havanatur Guide who will be with you for duration of your stay.

Once you have checked you will be given VIP access and a signature cocktail will welcome you to you hotel.

Free time to discover the hotel and its amenities.

For lunch, you’ll dinner at El Aljibe,

We will then transition to a afternoon tour of breathtaking Havana in classic American convertible cars. We offer a wide range of classic cars like Chevrolet, Ford, Buick, Cadillac, Mercury, Dodge, Oldsmobile and Pontiac.

The group will enjoy a ride along the Malecon to El Morro. Here we will take pictures of the sweeping cityscape of Havana from the bay entrance and will stop at some of the most iconic places throughout Havana: the Capitol, the ChinaTown, Carlos III street, Christopher Columbus Cemetery, Havana Forest, and Revolution square.

Dinner will be at “La Moraleja”

After dinner we will take a short panoramic tour around the old city to Sloppy Joe’s Bar.

Day 2: Havana

Morning bike tour of Havana with Velo Cuba (on your own)

We will enjoy lunch at Paladar-restaurant “Río Mar”.

After lunch, we will meet with the staff of CENESEX, the National Center for sex education and research. The organization that has spearheaded the struggle for LGBT rights in Cuba.

Evening at leisure.

Day 3: Havana- Santa Clara

After breakfast, we will travel to a panoramic tour of colonial Santa Clara, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit the cultural house of ‘Los Piquetes’.

We will enjoy lunch at Los Caneyes, we will stay at Cuba’s Central Villa Clara for your stay in colonial Santa Clara.

After lunch, we will go to El Mejunje to meet its project director and to exchange views with members of the LGBT community of Santa Clara.

After dinner at the hotel we will enjoy nightlife at Santa Clara’s Club Los Mejunjes, known for more than two decades as the home of some of the most dynamic disco and drag scenes in the Caribbean.

Stay the night in Caneyes or Granjita Hotel.

Day 4: Havana.

After breakfast, we departure to Havana and visit Finca Vigia museum

Lunch at Ajiaco paladar.

We will then visit the National Union of Jurists where we meet with members of the Association of Family Law and Civil Rights for a discussion on LGBT interests

In the afternoon, we will meet with members of SOCUMES (the Cuban society for multidisciplinary studies in sexuality. (esto se puede intercambiar por conferencia con professor de la uh que pueda impartir estos temas)

We will wrap up our day with a farewell dinner at a La Guarida.

On the top floor of a spectacularly dilapidated Havana tenement, La Guarida’s lofty reputation rests on its movie-location setting of Fresa y Chocolate, The food is up there with Havana’s best, shoehorning its pioneering brand of Nueva Cocina Cubana into dishes such as tuna with a sugar-cane glaze.

Day 5: Havana

Transfer out.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Cuba as you board your flight home
